I’ve always been into men which fit the “bear” stereotype and my art always mirrors it (see my Facebook). During the making of this work I didn’t want to draw just a sexy, hairy man, but I wanted to seize the opportunity to think over the male figure. I looked for a way to convey it as universally as possible, so I thought about the biblical figure of Adam, the first man on earth, the father of the whole humanity. I tried to figure out how he could look like and this illustration is the outcome: serious, lonely, lost in an elementary world and, of course, bearded.
